MED Training and Consulting, also known as “MED MEDIC,” was founded in 2018 with a vision of providing high-quality medical training and first-aid equipment to civilians, businesses, and first responders. However, the story behind MED Training and Consulting began much earlier.

In 2008, Andy Grote became a certified EMT. From that day forward, he knew he wanted to do more than simply help people during their time of need—he wanted to prepare others to help when it matters most.

Three years later, in 2011, Andy graduated from Ivy Tech Community College with a degree in Paramedic Science. Since then, he has continued working in the field as a street paramedic, gaining nearly two decades of hands-on experience caring for patients in some of their most critical moments.

Throughout his career, Andy has developed experience as a tactical paramedic, special events paramedic, educator, and leader. He currently holds an Indiana Paramedic License and is a Nationally Registered Paramedic. His professional education and certifications include Indiana EMS Primary Instructor, Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Instructor, Stop the Bleed Instructor, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), National Incident Management System (NIMS), and Domestic Terrorism training.

At MED Training and Consulting, our mission is simple:

We strive to inspire, train, and equip individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to become more self-reliant during everyday emergencies and life-threatening situations.
