About Us

MED Training and Consulting was started in 2018 with the vision of providing better medical training and first aid kits to civilians and first responders. But the story of MED Training and Consulting dates back to 2008 when Andy, the owner of MED Training and Consulting, became a certified EMT. From that day on, Andy knew he wanted to help people during their times of need but also preparing others to help.

Three years later, in 2011, Andy graduated from Ivy Tech Community College with a degree in paramedic science. Since then, Andy has been working as a street medic and hasn't looked back. The knowledge Andy has gained over the last eleven years has prepared him to lead MED Training and Consulting in a positive and effective direction.  

Along with working the streets on a daily basis, Andy has experience as a tactical and special events paramedic. He currently holds a Paramedic License in the state of Indiana and is a National Registered Paramedic. Andy also holds certifications in the following courses: Indiana  EMS Primary Instructor, PreHospital Trauma Life Support (Instructor), Stop the Bleed (Instructor), Advanced Cardiac Life Care, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, National Incident Management System, and Domestic Terrorism.

Our goal is to INSPIRE, TRAIN, and EQUIP individuals to be more self reliant during everyday life and emergency situations. 

MED Training and Consulting strives for excellence and is always looking at ways to improve their curriculum so each student receives the most up-to-date knowledge and techniques. When situations become real and lives are on the line you need the knowledge to handle those situations with confidence and professionalism. This is what MED Training and Consulting is all about. We give each student the ability to learn, grow, and push themselves to be better, faster, and stronger.
